# 6.3.2 Mining through Proof of Participation

* **Mining Rewards for Players and Developers:**

  In addition to staking rewards, Proof of Participation allows both players and developers to mine BG tokens by contributing computational power to the network (e.g., by validating in-game transactions or providing liquidity to in-game markets). This Proof of Participation mechanism ensures that all participants in the ecosystem can benefit from the success of the blockchain.
