6.3.1 Minting through Proof of Stake

  • Minting New BG Tokens:

    As a reward, developers running nodes will receive newly minted BG tokens. The minting process follows a deflationary curve, with rewards decreasing over time to maintain the value of BG tokens and prevent inflation.

  • Staking Rewards:

    Developers running authorized nodes and participating in transaction validation will receive BG tokens as rewards, based on the number of tokens staked and the contributions of their nodes to the network.
