  1. 2. Web3 Gaming Opportunities

2.3 Cross-Game Asset Portability

One of the most promising features of Web3 games is the ability to transfer assets across different games and platforms. Traditional games lock assets within their ecosystems, but Web3 games can utilize blockchain standards like ERC-721 and ERC-1155 to enable true asset portability. AI further enhances the utility and value of these assets:

  • AI-Enhanced Ownership and Transferability: Players can own in-game assets represented by NFTs or tokens, which can be traded or transferred across different games. AI-driven valuation systems ensure the assets' market value is accurately reflected while tracking and managing their utility to retain expected value.

Example: A rare item earned in one game can be transferred to another, where AI adjusts its functionality or value based on the specific mechanics of that game, preserving its utility and offering additional value across platforms.
